Art Krug

After earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre from Whitworth College, Art Krug landed a prestigious position bussing tables at a mexican restaurant in Portland, Oregon. Then, in March of 1983, he decided he’d learned all he needed to know about the ratio of chips to salsa. So he took to the stage for his first live comedy performance. Within a year, Art was headlining venues around the Northwest and into Canada.

In 1988, Krug moved to L.A. and quickly established himself as a regular with The Improvisation comedy franchise, touring around the United States and working with comedians such as Drew Carey, Dana Carvey, Jake Johansen, and Ron White.

Since then, he has performed thousands of shows at comedy clubs, colleges, corporate events, and parties. He has done shows in auditoriums, hotels, and at outdoor festivals. In fact, here is what Dr.Seuss had to say about Art Krug:

They’ve laughed on busses and in cars.
And snort out loud in sushi bars.
In hotel lounges full of smoke,
they hold their sides and start to choke.

Eagles, Moose, and even Elks
laugh until they spit up milk.
In suits and T-shirts, silk and flannell,
They’ve watched him on the Showtime Channel.

At Intel, Safeway, and Microsoft
they laughed their friggin heads right off.

In short, Art Krug is a tested comedy veteran....who can wait tables.
