Coyote Creek is a hot new Country Music act hailing from the Willamette Valley in Oregon. The band is made up of a dynamic, professional group of musicians who provide the highest caliber live performances. Both musically and visually entertaining, Coyote Creek brings a wide array of original songs and classic covers that will appeal to audiences of all persuasions.
Front and center on the stage for Coyote Creek is talented and charismatic vocalist Lindsey Shaffer. Born into a musical family, Lindsey hails from Tuscon, Arizona. After stints as a climbing guide in Mexico, a flight attendant and a legal assistant, she decided to pursue her true passion, singing and entertaining. Lindsey's rich, espressive voice and sparkling stage presence draws crowds in and keeps them smiling.
The band's bottom end and soaring vocal harmonies are flawlessly delivered by bassist Rik Bartel. A Salem, Oregon native, Rik has provided driving bass lines for acts such as Wild Dogs and 5 o'clock Charlie. Rik is an outstanding bass player, vocalist and song-writer whose abilities are truly an asset to Coyote Creek.
Holding down rhythm acoustic and electric guitar work, Dan Miller brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. After studying music in college, Dan honed his skills playing in Northwest acts such as Second Balcony Jump, Alison Rice, and the Sugar Daddies.
Coyote Creeks guitar sound is rounded out by versatile guitarist John Anderson. Originally from Roseburg, Oregon, John moved to the Portland area to pursue his musical aspirations with noted acts Jesus Presley and the Bottom Line, finally joining forces with Coyote Creek to complement their sound with well-crafted leads and a wide varay of colors and tones.
Drum and percussion duties are readily handled by Russ Rosenbalm. No stranger to performing, Russ has performed with Black Rose, Big Bang and Part of the Tribe. A refined and balanced drummer, Russ delivers the no-nonsense rhythmic foundation of Coyote Creek.
Robert Lee serves up piano and Hammond riffs. A versed keyboard player for 25 years, Robert has spent countless hours on stage with local and regional acts. The recording studio has been familiar territory, recording tracks for artists and producing radio commercials.
Coyote Creek's Jack-of-All-Trades is Dirk Alan. Pedal Steel, Banjo, Harmonica, Guitar and Mandolin, Dirk provides the musical icing on the cake. A 30 year veteran of the industry, he has toured across the country, performing with Charlie McCoy, Dotti West and the Ventures.
