One of the busiest live music acts in the Pacific Northwest for corporate events, weddings, festivals, clubs and casinos, DESIGN looks forward to performing at your next event. This versatile band from Portland Oregon, consists of professional musicians with the flexibility to meet any musical need.
Design performs over two hundred dates per year. In order to keep it fresh for you and themselves, they constantly add new songs to their already large repertoire. They love to play all styles of music with the greatest respect for the original artists. Custom made dance discs for the intermissions will keep your guests in motion - no break in the music - no break in the mood - no break in the party! You are always welcome to use their sound system for announcements, toasts, roasts and award presentations.
Tracy Stone is always ready for any crowd. His singing and entertaining talent reaches all ages. With hilarious impersonations, lovable enthusiasm, and high energy, he gets everybody on the dance floor screaming for more.
Karin Kopp studied bass and vocals at the Conservatory of Music in Hamburg and Arrangement and Composition at the Dick Grove School of Music in Los Angeles. She also plays guitar and keyboards and is a very accomplished lead vocalist.
Steve Payne plays lead and rhythm guitar and sings lead and background vocals. His vocal range covers a wide variety of styles from Jim Morrison to Frank Sinatra. On the guitar, his versatility is showcased in many styles as well, from jazz to classic rock. He has toured extensively in the Far East, the South Pacific, Canada, the U.S., the Caribbean, as well as eight month at the Grand Hyatt Regency in Istanbul, Turkey as a member of the house band. He enjoys playing a wide range of styles.
A founding member of Design, Manny Keller has played drums for over 25 years, all over the USA, Europe and Asia. His dynamic beat and production skills can be heard on many recordings and CD's.
