Don Latarski

Don Latarski has been performing in the solo fingerstyle guitar style since 1993. His first solo recording, NorthWest of December, was released that year. He has since released other solo recordings: Natural Instincts, Fab 4 on 6, and Fab 4 on 6 vol.2. (These latter two consisting exclusively of Beatles’ music.)
Latarski’s repertoire ranges from pop, folk, and ceremonial music to blues and jazz. Some light classical music is also in his repertoire, such as Bach’s, Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring. Many original pieces fill out a repertoire that spans many genres. Special request songs are honored whenever possible.
Latarski performs on standard six-string acoustic, classical, and baritone guitars at whatever volume level is appropriate for the occasion.
Latarski is head of guitar studies at the University of Oregon School of Music and Dance in Eugene.
