Maureen Love is considered one of the West Coast's finest harpists. A lifetime of performing has given her the expertise and grace that are evident in her performances. Her music is a rich blend of emotion, warmth and sensitivity, demonstrating virtuosity rarely heard on the instrument.
It was her association with Pink Martini that lead to the creation of The Love - Smith Duo.
Douglas E. Smith is a percussionist living in Portland, Oregon.
Currently, Doug is a long-term member of the group Pink Martini, playing various percussion instruments including the vibraphone. He is also on the board of directors of Ethos-Inc., a nonprofit organization, which provides affordable music lessons to under-served youth.
