McQueen

This past summer marked the 19th anniversary of McQueen. Originally founded in the summer of 1985, the band has undergone some major changes since its inception. Now the original members Ron Armour and Tony Kohlruss are back together! They have added some of Canada's very best musicians to the band; Jake Stolz on lead guitar, Rick McVicar on drums, Serge Soucy on keyboards and Chris Hill on bass guitar. From the very beginning their tight vocal harmonies, their zany humor and spontaneity along with their ability to make the audience feel like they are a part of the show has made McQueen a favorite throughout the fair, festival and rodeo circuit......

The new members have added a new power and drive to the music, and with six strong vocalists, the group has added some acapella tunes that you have to hear to believe! McQueen has toured extensively throughout North America, opening for some of country music's greatest entertainers.

The list includes such greats as Lonestar, Dwight Yoakum, Willie Nelson, The Dixie Chicks, Blackhawk, Diamond Rio, Trace Adkins, Martina McBride and many more. This past summer also included McQueen's 5th appearance at the Merritt Mountain Music Festival, the Cloverdale Rodeo and an unprecedented 18th year performing at the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede.
