Reunion

Who are those guys? Well, if you reunite Jim Pike, original founder and lead singer of the famous singing group "The Lettermen" and his brother Gary Pike, who was in "The Lettermen" for 14 years....and add Ric de Azevedo, who gained fame as a member of television's "First Family of Song", The King Family, and put them all together, it spells "REUNION"! As "The Lettermen", Jim and Gary had an unprecedented forty-six consecutive hit albums on Billboard Magazine's national charts, twenty hit singles, nine gold albums, five Grammy nominations, and sold to date over 100 million dollars worth of records, tapes and CD's worldwide.

Their classic hits include: "When I Fall In Love", "The Theme From A Summer Place", "The Way You Look Tonight", "Goin' Out Of My Head/Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You", "Hurt So Bad", "Put Your Head On My Shoulder", "Traces/Memories", "Smile", "I Only Have Eyes For You", "She Cried", "Shangri-La" and many more!

They have performed for thousands of colleges all over America, and were voted the number one college concert attraction of the 1960s. Jim and Gary also appeared on many popular television shows such as: Ed Sullivan, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Red Skelton, Jack Benny, Kraft Music Hall. Milton Berle, Dick Clark's American Bandstand, The Tonight Show, The Merv Griffin Show and many Miss Universe and Miss America Pageants.

When N.A.S.A. decided to leave a recording representing "American Popular Music" in the time capsule on the moon, one of the songs they chose was a Lettermen hit, "Love", which just happened to be a solo by Jim Pike. Billboard Magazine, the standard of the recording industry, referred to Jim and Gary in their former group as, "The Greatest Romantic Vocal Group of all Time!" When it comes to having a track record of hits, and backing it up with stellar live performances, these guys are "Legends"! And now the Legend continues!

Through the years, Jim and Gary have had overwhelming requests to re-unite, because their fans missed the original blend, harmony and that distinct sound that was on all their hits. So now here they are, along with Ric in their new group, "REUNION".

"I never saw a standing ovation for performers on their first number before. You people knocked 'em dead with a show that will long be remembered by the Oregon Bankers Association."

"Genuine! Quality! Fun! Great! Memories! Tears! Awesome!"

These are some of the words we heard after "REUNION'S" great performance for the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association."REUNION" has a file drawer full of letters with comments like these.Their show has something for everyone! Each member of the group is an outstanding soloist in his own right, with his own distinctive vocal style. The bottom line is a performance filled with variety! This group believes in audience participation, and a little comedy too. Jim, Gary and Ric often give the orchestra a break, as they blend their voices in a flawless harmony that needs no accompaniment.

In a unique concert experience, Jim tells of his own "Impossible Dream", the inspiring story of how he miraculously regained his voice after ten years of silence and doctors saying he'd never sing again....The intensity and perfection of "REUNION'S" performance brings audiences to their feet at every show! In a grand finale, "REUNION" dons the letter sweaters that Jim and Gary made famous, for a trip down memory lane. It's Memorable! It's Romantic! It's Wonderful!

No wonder they're being touted as one of the best in concert acts in the world today. It's a REUNION, but it's like they never left, for it is truly a class....

REUNION! NEWS BULLETIN!!!!! "REUNION'S" recording. "Just One More Chance" (an original song), was the title song in a movie release.

THE LEGEND CONTINUES....
