Sandin Wilson’s electric fretless bass and vocal work have been heard all over the Pacific Northwest and around the world.
From his days with pop/rock chart-busting Geffen/CBS/Sony recording artists Quarterflash, Atlantic recording artists Nushooz, Jazz Fusion Guitarist - Cal Scott and Calvin Walker’s Band Funkster, to his session work on several highly acclaimed CDs with Narada recording artist, Michael Gettle, it’s obvious that this versatile musician has got his “basses” covered.
Much in demand as a studio session bassist, Sandin has recorded on over 100 local and national CD’s & recordings. At 16 he played at Carnegie Hall with Americaís Youth in Concert and toured 9 countries in Europe. Sandin has opened for entertainers such as Jay Leno, Level 42, Phoebe Snow, The Jazz Crusaders, Dan Reed Network and the Neville Brothers, to name just a few.
Sandin’s CD debut. Into My World, is an impressive achievement, something few musicians realize in their lifetime. As Executive Producer Jimmy Haslip of the Grammy Award-Winning Yellowjackets says, “Sandin is a fantastic bassist and vocalist with a lot of soul.”
With his first CD project, Sandin has clearly established himself as a songwriter, composer, and arranger of considerable talent and musical reach. On his debut solo project, Sandin is joined by some of the nation's finest musicians.
